Founded in 1967 GERSTEL develops automated sample preparation and sample introduction techniques that are compatible with gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS).
Our collaboration already dates back more than 30 years during which time we have been involved in several developments and inventions that have been commercialized by GERSTEL (e.g. Twister, PyroVial). We both share the idea that sample preparation and sample introduction is a critical component for reliable sample analysis.
Agilent Technologies was established in 1999 as a spin-off from Hewlett-Packard and is market leader in gas chromatography (GC), liquid chromatography (LC), and mass spectrometry (MS) systems. We have scientifically collaborated with Agilent for more than 30 years and have supported them with beta-testing of new instrumentation, accessories, and consumables, (e.g. columns).
Established in 1936 LECO has obtained its expert status in time-of-flight mass spectrometry and comprehensive gas chromatography. Our relationship started during Pat Sandra’s professorship in South-Africa from 2000 to 2011 where LECO’s strength in dealing with complex samples was recognized. The launch of their BT-TOF validates the possibilities LECO can bring to our customers which triggered a dedicated collaboration in 2019.
