So what will you be doing?
- You are responsible for selling our instrument solutions in your specific area (Belgium/Luxemburg).
- Develop a business strategy to meet or exceed the desired business goals.
- Identify new opportunities, reach out and follow up on new leads and prospects.
- Manage and expand existing customer accounts (in various sectors), closely track customer evolutions and develop strong relationships as a trusted go-to person.
- Analyze the customer’s needs in order to propose the best analytical solution.
- Ensure the follow-up of the business in collaboration with our Application Engineers and Service Engineers.
- Report your activities in our CRM.
- Ensure technological developments and stay on top of the latest applications.
- Represent our company at national and international events, workshops and conferences
- You are regularly present at our headquarters in Kortrijk.
- You report to the regional Sales Manager.

- Microsoft Office… no problem… I can do that with one hand… but should probably use two.
- Not one but two eyes for detail (duh, we are selling analytical instruments here, you know)
- At least 3 years of working experience in selling analytical instruments
- A strong interest and/or background in chemistry or analytical chemistry
- Proven commercial skills, the ability to structure and negotiate sales
- Open, attentive, and service-minded towards customers
- Strong communicator, fluent in Flemish, French and with a good knowledge of English
- Self-driven, proactive, knowing how to prioritize
- Sales degrees are a plus but the right attitude and an eye for opportunities will take you even further…

So what will you be doing?
- You are responsible for planning, implementing, managing and overseeing our company-wide marketing strategy, and report to higher management on a regular basis.
- You create unique fitting marketing materials and organize campaigns for company-wide initiatives and our different analytical brands, supporting our commercial activities and taking into account our company’s core values and tone of voice.
- You further develop the digital ecosystem of our company and our brands by building new and/or improving existing websites (including SEA/SEO, website statistics) as well as other digital portals that are relevant to the market segments where we are active.

You ensure our consistent presence on social media (LinkedIn and others) and oversee strategy, organization and content creation. You collect and funnel all fresh ideas, organize brainstorming sessions and report on statistics.

You work closely with our in-house Marketing & Communications Officer and align on daily activities with our mid- and long-term marketing strategy in mind. You coach and provide guidance and supportive training, ensuring continuous development and expansion of know-how and skills.

You collaborate with external partners involved in our marketing activities, such as freelancers, conference organizers, industry suppliers, market research institutions and advertising agencies, with the aim of building a strong network of reliable marketing partners.

- Strong communicator, fluent in English writing and speaking, French is a plus!
- Great listener with excellent people management and coaching skills
- You talk the talk, that’s great! … but you also need to walk the marketing walk when you work with us: advanced skills in Office and experience with Adobe, familiar with the practical aspects and limitations of social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook), experience with website building (e.g. WordPress) is a plus!
- Strong interest in science and tech, and able to translate added value of a scientific approach or technology into a catchy story… but don’t worry, you don’t have to be a hardcore nerd, we already have plenty of those
- At least 5 years of working experience in a marketing function, including plotting a marketing strategy, organizing campaigns, working with internal cross-departmental stakeholders and external agents.

- Développer une stratégie commerciale pour atteindre ou dépasser vos objectifs

- Atteindre ou dépasser vos objectifs commerciaux vous motive particulièrement
- Expériences dans la vente des instrumentations analytiques
- Une formation en chimie ou chimie analytique
- Sens démontré des affaires, capacité à structurer et à négocier des ventes
- Ouvert, à l’écoute et sens du service envers les clients
- Capacité à travailler en équipe et bon sens de la communication
- Autonome, réactif avec le sens des priorités et des opportunités
- Au-delà de la formation, c’est avant tout la personnalité, le tempérament et le savoir-être qui seront appréciés avec une maîtrise des techniques de vente
- La maitrise de l’anglais est un avantage
